DAY 1

Hello everyone first of all Happy Republic Day to all !!!, so today I am starting a journey for my design and I will update it here and also I will write about one special thing that happened each day. I want to tell you about my first design book that I ordered and I started reading it. Honestly I am loving it. So here is my book

So the title itself is self explanatory. This is a very interesting design book showcasing the beauty of design and it's technicalities. This is the revised version and I got this from amazon at Rs. 370. Apparently it is a gift to myself.

So the first thing that intrigued me about this book is it's cover. The cover which seems to be very normal is indeed very interesting and it kind of surprised me. This cover is designed by Nicole Caputo (P.S. I followed her on Instagram) and the image is by Jacques Carelman and trust me this image is very special.

So this pot seen in the picture is actually very poorly designed and one can't pour anything from it and it is super inconvenient. The handle and the mouth of tea pot being at the same side makes this pot extremely unique and super uncomfortable for any human being to use thus highlighting the importance of good design.

The idea of using such a photograph is amazing and itself is a great example of designing. So I have read few pages only but all I can say about this book is that it is very interesting and takes design in a simplistic manner for anyone and makes us a keen observer.

Now coming to my special thing for today, so I came up with this song for someone very close to me. So it is a birthday song that I wrote after getting inspired from a very beautiful song "When I am Gone" from Pitch Perfect. I changed the lyrics and tried to match them with the music and it came up great. I am going to record it and I hope that it is good and I will update on this as well.
