Day 10

 Olaa friends!!!! As promised the design for my mom's birthday is ready. So, I decided to make a vector portrait for her. The first task was the photo selection. It was very difficult cause there no high resolution picture of my mom. So I went to the photo album and found this beautiful school day picture of her. It was simple elegant and perfect for the vector.

Well coming to the designing process, I have made vectors before but I have always found shadowing and contouring a bit difficult, I watched few YouTube video's and understood the procedure. It took me two days to make the design as I had my Aptitude classes side by side.(They can be very tiring) After the vector was done I worked on the background and then finally the mockup. Here is how the design turned out.

Well the best part of today was mom's reaction. She was really happy to see this and even posted it on Facebook. I am very happy with how the vector came out overall. I still need to work on more things and will surely improve a lot in my next design.

Practicing is the key for perfection, keep practicing and keep smiling.
