Day 30
"A day full of surprises is definitely the best but trust me it has a lot of mess stored in for you."
Well today was one such day so I went to college just to complete my left work but the surprise was that the company that came to our college for placement called the selected students for a meeting with their CEO in Gurgaon day after tomorrow as a final round before selection and I was one of the selected candidates. The utter rush you feel when something big like this comes on your plate and you have to think of how you will manage things and work everything out is huge.
I was super excited as it was the first time I would be traveling without my parents to Delhi with my friends. We started discussing about the transportation, where we will stay, the budget and made a plan. But as we all know plans are meant to be canceled because there is always this one person who will have a different idea. The same happened with us and then there was no choice left except to step into this whirlpool of chaos and emerge as a winner.
Initially the plan was to book a cab and 3 OYO rooms and just carry on with the journey. But the sword of exceeding the budget is always hanging on our heads so some wanted to go by bus and some wanted to go by train and here is me thinking what to do. We were six students in the beginning and after this only 5 were left.
The confusion was still there to go by bus or by train and at which time. To emerge from a problem a leader needs to come forward and take charge and unite the group. That leader was me, I asked my dad to book 5 tickets of the train to Delhi which left at 5AM in the morning and sort the whole mess out. It was the best option for all of us and that is how we emerged as a winner from this whirlpool of chaos. Well four of us were staying at my friends friend house and one was staying with her family. After fixing all the mess I went with packing all of my stuff and was ready to leave for Delhi.
Here is a desperate attempt of us to get our money back.
